geitner wants to bring in private investment as part of his financial rescue plan. it was supposed to be announced today, but was delayed until tomorrow.
i had a greatly successful weekend. i acquired four harry nilsson albums including: pandemonium shawdow show, aerial ballet, pussycats and knnillssonn. thanks to randy for pointing me in the right direction on those. i plan on acquiring three more tonight and tomorrow night.
i was eating crab last night and i tried breaking into this crab leg, like full on force and i ended up stabbing the underneath part of my thumbnail and it's really sore. seriously, those crabs are well protected. we have to bang a freakin' hammer on them to open them up. and then slather them with butter and eat them. what eats crabs besides us? can bears open them up? i know birds have no shot. and sharks might just swallow it whole. i don't know.
the grammys were last night. i taped it and then fast forwarded (yeah, VHS baby!) through the entire thing to see radiohead play. it was pretty cool. it was just thom and johnny playing with the entire USC marching band. my wife and i had the same thought at the same time, "you know each one of those band nerds (i was one) is creaming their pants playing with radiohead right now." when a husband and wife both generate that thought at the exact same time, "wow" is all you can say.
