so what happens when leonard cohen and phil spector get together? they make the most awesome, desperate, debased and colorful album of leonard cohen's career. these are songs of a man who has nothing to lose. a man who is watching the leaves fall and realizes desperation can be a tool for getting women. this concept album revolves around a guy who has come to grips with his age and place in life. i love it. this album is such a messy affair, it's impossible not to love it.

Hey Son, This comment has nothing to do with your recent blogs. I was going back reading your old blogs about your weird dreams. They must be heriditary. I have some of the weirdest ones also. They often involve members of the cast of "the Office". The other night i dreamed your mom was hosing down Vic with a water hose at Palmers lake. Vic had long braided blonde and black hair. Phyllis from the office was in it also. Weird wacky stuff. Also, i like your new haircut..Love Dad
