settled down like rain

these are some of the early returns of the new camera. there are some pretty cool effects settings that i was messing around with this weekend. it's pretty obvious which of the pictures above are the effects ones. i was shocked at how much i could zoom in and see the moon. the camera has a 42X optimal zoom which is incredible. i like to zoom in which is evident from the above shots. hopefully i'll keep getting better and taking more and more interesting shots. mountains and huge landscapes puzzle me though. i have no idea how to do the scene justice in the camera. i need to work on that a lot. anyway, check them out.
