has anyone ever bought defective deodorant? the stuff i'm using, i don't think it works. in fact, i think it does the opposite. i end up smelling pretty rank by like noon. what is that? i would think that if there was a smell that was determined to be smelt that the deodorant would fight it off until later in the day. but this deodorant does not. i think they're in cahoots. they tag team to create this awful smell and they laugh and mock my attempt at cleanliness. i won't have it. it's time to take action.
also in other news, as many of you know, i will be leaving my job at PwC. it's not something i take lightly. i've never worked at a company like PwC. there are good/smart people who work here. they really want you to succeed. they do work you though. a lot. but i was also able to travel to seattle, new york, chicago, atlanta, salt lake city, kansas city and houston. there's been ups and downs. i've failed and succeeded. but i'm proud to have worked at this company. so now i get to start another job with a new company in a new industry. i'm planning for the future. and i think i'm right where i should be. that's a good feeling. i hope that i can continue to say that going forward. time will tell.
i thought about this the other day. last thanksgiving was kind of miserable. i had just failed another cpa test and i was scheduled to have acl surgery a week after thanksgiving. things were not great for the k-man. but a year later, my knee is feeling great. i have passed all my tests and i am about to start a new job with a great future ahead. so let that be a lesson to everyone. things can change. they can get better. be ready for it when it does get better and enjoy the hell out of it.
