eye of the tiger, pt. 3

here we are people. even before the game this afternoon, we've already received our first break. denver lost yesterday. what does that mean? well i'll tell you what that means. if, if, if somehow, someway houston can beat new england later today, the afc championship game will be in houston. that is huge. we already beat baltimore. in fact, we tore them up. well so did denver, so i guess that's not worth a lot in the playoffs, which should make should make us feel better about today. things could be turning houston's way.

however, i am the rain. the game is the parade and i'm raining all over it. prediction:

new england 42 houston 20

i don't have any other predictions. my preseason nfc pick green bay is now gone. they lost last night to san francisco pretty convincingly. i was able to watch it at home. what? that's right. i was talking with my dad and he mentioned that i should be able to buy a normal, everyday antenna and hook it into the converter box and pick up channels over the air. well, guess what? he was right!! i hooked it up upstairs and we have television. so i'll be able to watch the texans game at home today instead out at some bar with everyone cheering against houston. also i'm becoming a statistic and have come down with a sore throat. when you see a map of the US and all the states are red with sick people, i'm now one of them.

(as i'm watching cbs this morning)....this is awesome. i haven't seen a 'moment of nature' on cbs's this morning in years. and this morning they're in montana. and there's a moose. it looks just like rocky mountain national forest. it's not, but man it's similar. i love those moments of nature.

also we saw the hobbit yesterday. i've never read the book or any of tolkien's books. i found them pretty boring. but i enjoy the movies. and this one was good too. we saw it 3d in the IMAX. the IMAX was cool, but i'm always let down by 3d. i think it's a ripoff. but demitria loved it and that's what counts. that's her star wars.

go texans.
