someday, some morning, sometime

last weekend we went to waterton canyon, down by roxborough state park. the weather here has been outstanding. i mean like early spring weather. i'm sure we bound for more snow at some point, but we're taking advantage while we can. the trail wasn't really a trail. it was like a semi-paved road, one paved with rocks. and trail followed the canyon creek. we saw some interesting creatures out there. first, we saw the doe above who if you notice only has one antler. i think the other one is retractable. then we saw some big horn sheep. the pictures don't show it, but there were probably 8 or 9 of them up on the rocks. finally we saw the lonely duck. there were no other ducks all day and then we saw this little guy going upstream in the cold, frozen water. we had to get a picture of this little fighter. we're going back this weekend to bike around the lake that's down there. we'll see what shots we get this weekend.
