death and all of his friends

we had our last great debate last night. and it seems that joe the plumber is all anyone can focus on. as many times as john mccain mentioned the name, joe the plumber, he better be the first guy he calls if there is a leak in the white house, should he win the election.

and what's with calling everyone "my friends?" that's enough with that.

the phillies are going to the world series. that is the team that ed wade built. mostly. but that brings about great expectations for astros fans. i trust ed wade in evaluating raw, unproven talent, such as ryan howard, chase utley and jimmy rollins. but his trades are so lop-sided. he got nothing for scott rolen, he got nothing for curt schilling and he got nothing for brad lidge. stay away from trades and we should be alright.

oil is continuing to drop. but we're not seeing it at the stations yet, are we? it's falling, but compare the price of gasoline pre-runup to post-runup. they sure don't come down as fast as they go up. funny how that happens.

how do we manage the banks? here's some points.

the nikkei and dow convergence.

early voting is going to take place soon. there will be polling stations open on sat. oct. 25th and sunday, oct. 26th. you can vote at any polling station that is participating in early voting as long as you're registered.
