speaking of deca-stuff, there is a complete series of movies called the decalogue filmed for polish television like ten years ago. there are ten movies and each has a central theme from the ten commandments. at this point, you're probably thinking kirk cameron and uncomfortable high-fives and cheesy 90 minute character turnarounds. this is not that. these movies ever-so-slightly mix the commandment theme with the plot of the movie. i only saw four of them, but i was blown away. great stuff. and each one is only about an hour. you're not watching a whole two-hour movie. if you've got a free weekend, check it out. credit to dave mann for introducing me to the decalogue.
bob dylan has a new bootleg series out. i have volumes 1-3 which have an amazing non-released (i guess it's officially released now, right?) song called "she's your lover now." excellent stuff.
