phantom limb

i have extremely cracked knuckles right now. ever had cracked knuckles? makes like a little less fun. i also have droopy eyes. that's caused by lack of sleep. i have a lack of sleep because my wife chose to put her ice block feet against my leg last night and i woke up and jumped out of bed. droopy eyes is often the result of that situation.

i've been reading an excellent book: the origin of financial crises. i've already read it, i'm actually reading it again. i want all the ideas to soak in. i want to be able to justify these talking points or speak out against if i disagree with them. when people start asking questions and you don't really know the answer or even have a clue, it makes you look like a parrot. a lot of people my age are parrots.

here are some of the top accounting firms to work for in 2008. there's one on there from bellaire that my friend lindsey was working at until she failed two accounting classes and they had to let her go. that sucks.
